The heart of the Tweed Valley has something for everyone:

The Tweed Valley Railway Path runs through Innerleithen, providing off-road access to Peebles in the west and Walkerburn in the east. 

Cycling: An exciting centre of world-class mountain biking with the challenging Golfie trails, 7 Stanes bike and the Glentress Trail centre.

Walking: Local circular walks, Tweed Valley Railway path along the river to Peebles and Walkerburn and plenty of all-day walks ,

Fishing: Daily fishing permits can be bought from the local shop for the Tweed's famous salmon and brown trout fishing. 

Golf: Innerleithen, Cardrona and Peebles Golf Courses are all nearby 

Horse Riding: Haughhead stables is a sort walk with many more being a short drive away  

Culture - The area is rich in culture, with stately homes, castles, galleries, museums, and gardens. Innerleithen has a beautiful traditional high street with local independent, quirky shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

Near by: The town of Peebles is close by, and Edinburgh makes a great day trip and is only 26 miles away, with buses running every 30 minutes from just around the corner.
